hey i got to test some stuff for my dads work ( news)

there takeing it to afganastan( spelling)

so they can upload pics and sound bites and of course stories

its a 64bit isdn ( i dont know how good that its but for a war zone its pretty good( this is are back yard not a warzone)


witch would you recomend ( it has isdn or usb witch is faster?) (its max speed threw the satalite is 64k i think)

I would NOT recommend USB. There seem to be a plethora of problems with USB and any USB network device.

Key word here is war zone.

If I need to upload coordinates for an airstrike to save my peoples butts and I get a blue screen or a driver issue when i plug that USB modem in.....The first thing that I'm going to do IF I get back is to run that thing over with the heaviest tracked vehicle I can find.

Has this thing undergone any field testing other than someones back yard? Let me be more specific, have any Marines tested it? If Marines cant break it, it will never break.

not its hasnt

but it has been tested in the desert and in finland

i just thought usb would be better becuase its less things to break ( the pcmica card and doogle and all that crap)
