I will keep my Burner, HardDrive, Monitor, etc... and these are the things I need to upgrade:

Motherboard/CPU, RAM, VideoCard, SoundCard, and Speakers...

I am buying mostly everything from the following site (a store located in my city): http://www.computerboulevard.ca Keep in mind that I can't spend too much, and don't want to go over what I currently have listed, unless necessary... even less if possible...

=>For Motherboard I want to get the "MSI(K7T 266 PRO 2) (VIA KT266A) (6380) (SOCKET A) 266MHZ FSB / 3D AUDIO (5PCI/1CNR/1AGP/USB/3DDR/UDMA100) MAX. 3.0GB MEMORY" $179.95
=>For CPU "PALOMINO 1600+ XP 1.4GHZ (SOCKET A) (266MHZ)" $217.95

=>For Sound Card I want to get "CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER LIVE 5.1 (VALUE) 32BIT / 256 VOICE / PCI / SUPPORT MULTI-SPEAKER SURROUND MODE (W/ 2 , 4 , 5.1 SPEAKER OUT PUT)" $64.95

=>For Speakers: "ALTEC LANSING (AVS500W) SUB WOOFER + 4 SPEAKERS SYSTEM" $87.95

=>For Case: "(A1-06-G2) QUALITY 17" ATX TOWER CASE W/ 300W P.S. (4 X 5.25" BAY + 2 X 3.5" BAY) TWO TONE BLUE" $69.95

=>For HeatSink/Fan: ""ALPHA" (PAL6035 MFC) HI-END B/B CPU COOLING FAN (W/ HEAT SINK) COMBO" $49.95

=>I posted a thing on my video card on the video card board...

=>Also, Which of the DDR RAM on the site do you recommend? I was thinking the DDR PC-2100 Memory (184 PIN 266HMZ) of 256MB for $121.95 would be good?

Please give some advice, info., help, etc. on what I have just posted... If you see an incompatability, or something better, but same price range on the site...

Thanks!!!

I don't know how the MSI AMD motherboards are but my friend has one and its kicking so I don't think theres much to change but the price is kind of outragious, as you can get a Shuttle AK31 or Epox 8KHA+ for about 80 Dollars.

I don't know if the motherboard has the 3d video card but most likely not and you can pick up a cheap Radeon 32DDR for like 30-50 dollars which together with the motherboard is much cheaper than the MSI.

Look for 256 Crucial DDR PC2100 before the prices are going up AGAIN.

The chip looks good.

Sound card and speakers look good.

You might wanna consider getting a bigger power supply to last modernly with lots of fans and keep up with the AMD.

Go for an Alpha 8045 instead and there going on Ebay for like 26.00 by SV - Check "Vendor Discussions"...

Good rig overall just a few adjustment should be made.

Yeah, I have the exact same problem with newegg. They are a great site, good prices, and awesome selection, but no canadian shipping! :mad: Makes me ANGRY! Oh well, still a good site to go to and just look at cases. They have good photos of them there, which give you a good sense of what the case is like.

Or go into vendor discussion and ask them to recommend you to a canadian vendor.
