AuzenTech X-Plosion 7.1 Card Setup help

Ok so I got this card & am currently using an OLD Creative DTT3500 5.1 sound system with it via the optical and just having a hell of a time trying to get the sound right on this card... the interface is just odd from what I'm used to. Used to use a Creative Audigy 2 card with same speakers.

Also have old issues with it using vent...

i too had a hard time getting that card to sound good..

i was useing a nice onkyo with it as well. i felt it was 100 bux wasted, i think i sold the card for about half of what i paid for it, 2 weeks after i bought it. i just installed a prelude about an hour ago, i love it!

great I got 2 of these cards based off some things I read off here I so far these cards suck monkey butt they are not user friendly to setup & so far sound like crap most of the time...

this really bugs the hell outta me,it took me a couple ours to get windows apps (WMP, windows sounds etc) & WoW to sound ok, not great but ok, but in Prototype & Call of Duty WaW it's completely crap all chopy & stuff I can't make out any sound and is ****ing me off.

The other card I got is for a friends pc I'm building I've already had to send off the Video Card & PSU b/c they were bad & now I wanna send off the sound card but it'll be another 2 weeks to send off & get replacement sound card out so will be over a month before can get his pc to him... /sigh...

Anyone else have experience with this damn card & know how to set it up not to sound like crap?

i feel your pain man, it really bugged me too, considering what it had cost at the time. you can buy upgraded op-amps for it, people say it sounds better.. but i really didnt want to bother trying.
