wondering what the max i can overchip my p2 up to? or if my board will handle a higher p2 or p3 and if so the max of each that it may handle, have tried looking up info on the board. says it will handle a p3 but would like more difinative information. thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums

The max official cpu is the P-II 450MHZ
Unofficialy you can try using on your own risk P-III 450-550 katmai
core cpu's...it seems that they may work,but not guarantied.

Also you have overclocking capabilities by raising the fsb.
You have the settings of : 66,68,75,100,103,112,133.

Although if your tending to buy a katmai its not worth it. They go for like 60-100 bucks on Ebay and you can just buy something like a used motherboard + chip from the classifieds for that.
