where do you guys get your ir receivers?!?!?!? i looked all over newegg and i couldnt find one to save my life!!! so i went on ebay and found one of those hp mce ones...so thats what im going to be using with my harmony remote...

A lot of the remotes come with a receiver. There's also some HTPC cases with a built in IR receiver, if you don't already have a case picked out. I called Logitech a while ago to see if they see them seperately, and they don't.
USB-UIRT. Works with everything.

yeah I had to go to Amazon to find a remote and IR receiver...newegg was really limited for some reason.

You could hit up Ebay and grab an MCE IR receiver...they can be had for about $10. I'm using one with my Harmony 550 and it works great.

Yeah my 550 controls my TV, STB, AVR, X360 and the HTPC via "activities" you can also control them individually if needed.
