WINXP Random Restarts?

Anyone know why my winxp restarts on its own..ill just be sitting here then bam!I never had this problem with windows 98.Iv also had alot of problems trying to find drivers that actually work 100% with my voodoo 5 5500 and winxp.

You tested at stock speeds yet? Might be your el overclocko ;)

when you get rebooted, its like using 98 and getting the BSOD

you can set XP to give you the BSOD

Hmmm.... I'm runnin Win98se and havin the exact same problem.Your describing.Just built my new rig and this is a fresh install.Actually mines crashin right out of windows cause its (sometimes) runnin a scandisk other times not.(on reboot)

At first thought it was a Power management I overlooked.Only thing different in this install is IE6 from IE5.5.(besides new hardware).Getting some freezes too.IE6????

I've done all of MS's updates too.

Sounds like overclocked CPU or RAM to me. lower your overclock or increase the volatge to see if that helps.

i put it back down to 1.4 and still happens...so i dunno
