View Full Version : Will Golden Socket work for AMD XP?
I noticed someone mentioning a "Golden Socket" that allows you to switch multipliers even if it's not supported? If it works on an XP, does this mean I don't need to unlock it?
Any help in the area would help me greatly and I appreciate all feedback.
Sorry if this was a re-occuring post... didn't see any recent post about it :eh?:

Your thinking of the Golden Fingers devices people used on their slot A's. The Golden Socket works with socket A's. You still need to unlock the chip first though.
Perhaps other people have unlocked thier XP's.
I have the hands of a crack addict after 2 days of no crack. Not too stable if you know what I mean.
Therefor, I won't be attempting to unlock my XP. (not anytime soon atleast)
