1) I don't notice mine even with my panflo's set to their lowest speed.
2) You might be able to get away with double sided tape. Other people have noted that sticking things (like anti vibrating gel) to the bottom of the pump have caused them to over heat. But YMMV

I didn't "mount" mine at all, I just let it hang from the tubing 1/4" off the bottom of the case (with tube clamps of course).
Where is it getting off to?

Disclaimer: I have external watercooling, so if the tube should slip off, nothing dies. I also use 7/16" tube with 1/2" barbs.

You can't hear the pump unless your right next to it. Do allow some space between the bottom of the pump. It doesn't need airflow persay, but it needs to dissipate the heat , so dbl sticky tape or a gel pad is bad. I put a very skinny piece of velcro on each side on the bottom, so it's ohh 3/16" off the case and most of the bottom is an air space.

u dont want to double side sticky tape it because the bottom of these guys will get hot under operation.

UN Design brackets are wonderful, however unless your getting the ddc-3.25 from koolance, most of the DDC's have feet which you can put a bolt / nut on.

correction - im just gonna use the pumps feet to mount it to the hdd cage but with rubber gromets or pieces of rubber inbetween the pump and metal
