First of all..I havnt used a Norton or Mcaffee product since 1999 so...I know what kind of junk they have made in the past...they seem to have gotten good review on their new 360 3.0 all in one suite...
anyone use it? it was on sale at Office Max for $59 regularly $99
I dont need to hear about how they suck if you havnt used it ...
now if you have a link for some testing to show they suck that is fine.

Norton suites and products aren't real popular around here. They have a tendency of being rather resource intensive, and they aren't free, which is why your apt to get the response your trying to avoid. Not too many people here are fond of paying for software which bogs down your system.
With the holes that all AV products experience (none detect everything), most people opt for free antivirus products with low resource utilization for their personal systems.
Others may have more input specifically about Norton 360, or you may use the search to find other discussions of the product, but I didn't turn up many results on it - which probably means norton 360 isn't very relevant to our community or it'd be well covered like many other AV products discussed here.

I'll say upfront that I work with tech support, so people call when things are broken. I can't give a clear indication on how many are working with our product since they don't call in.
With that being said, I've seen Norton 360 block a lot of applications and prevent them from launching or running correctly. I've had to configure many of the Norton products to allow everything to run correctly. It is resource intensive and doesn't always fix issues (seen a lot of infected systems where it won't catch anything).
AKA: I wouldn't pay for it.
