Hey basically i have just purchased the above sound card in the title, i was previously using the onboard realtek audio. so basically i have installed the sound card in the slot and the drivers, but it still seems like someting is wrong, i was also not sure if i had not put any connectors in properly on motherboard,
am i supposed to still plug the sound cable on the motherboard the same connecto as the ac97 or something i have just left these unplugged and connected my speakers into my new sound card.
the only reason i feel something is wrong is it comes up with find new hardware, and sometimes it pops up at bottom left saying audio device connected to high defintion bus, any help would be much appreciated thanks.
