Hi guys,
to get staight to the topic:
I would like to squeeze some more battery life out of my dated Amilo 6810 based on the Uniwill 243S8.
Unfortunally the Laptop contains a old Pentium 4 Mobile and therefore it is impossible to change voltage by software. So the only chance remaining is a voltmod to lower the cpu voltage and get a cooler and longer running notebook.
As it seems a VID mod will not work as by pulling a VID to ground only higher voltages are achievable, so the only possibility seems to trick the regulator
LTC3716 (datasheet: http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/94408/LINER/LTC3716.html ) into thinking a higher voltage is being applieed so it lowers the voltage accordingly.

But here the problems start:
I just don't understand enough of electonics to figure out what to do from the datasheet.

So I would really be very happy if anyone out there could help me.
