how can i keep my favs config saved for backup

what i mean here is when i want to reinstall OS or even install IE6 over IE5 it defaults to alphabetical order again so what keeps it in the order that i use and how can i back it up like that?
its so annoying putting them the way i like em everytime ,man i have about 200 in favs atleast !

Have you tried exporting them then importing them back again?

eg. FIle..Import&Export...etc
