Should I upgrade my GPU?

So I am getting a Dell SP2309W monitor, and was wondering if it was time for an upgrade from my MSI 8800 GTS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127325)...

I was wondering IF I should upgrade it? And if I should, would it be better to go with the 9800 GTX and SLI it? Or go with a 260 GTX?

I'm a hardcore gamer, so I was leaning towards an upgrade, if only to upgrade to a GPU with more memory than 512 to support the larger resolution monitor I'll be getting.

I'd say Geforce 275GTX after saving money a little more. Or save alot more and go with 285GTX. And if you'r lazy to saving money and getting alot more potencial for a not much more money then go with 260GTX.

I would say the geforce 260 core 216 or 275 will be a good upgrade. If you dont mind ATI then the 4890 is probably the best bang for the buck right now.
