I have a full tower case with 2 92mm blowholes blowing in and 1 80mm in the front blowing towards the pci slots. i also have 2 80mm up above the psu which arent doing anything for me which i dont know why.
i tried sucking the air out like a chimmney and also tried blowing it in which didnt affect my temps at all.

here are my specs

40 c idle cpu
31c case.

i noticed my case temps are like 29c when i have my delta on the heatsink sucking air off . but i did loose about 2 c when i have the fan blowing on the heatsink. it was 43c idle before now its at 39-40c idle
i just ended up turning the 2 80mm off but i want some oppinions on what i should do. maybe suck air out where the 2 92mm blowholes are or have one suck and then one blow, "that didnt sound right lol" ok but you know what i mean

Well this is what i would do:
I would put those 92mm on the side panel of the case and set them to blow in!
That 80mm in front is ok cuz its blowing in.The CPU coolers fan has to blow on the CPU cuz if you set it to suck the air from the CPU it will interfere with much stronger 2x92mm fans and its hot air will actually go back on the HS of the CPU.
Those 2x80mm above the PSU have to suck the air out!
Thats what i would do.
how are your IDE cables and everythin? Are they all nice and not stoppin the air anyhow?
U can also try to reattach the CPU cooler and add very thin layer of thermal paste...

I already have the 2 92mm blowing in and everything else you said for me to do is already set. The 2 fans blowing out on the top of my case doesnt do anything for me either blowing in or blowing out. motherboard monitor reads the same for cpu and case temps. i have no idea what else to do .
my big problem is getting to 1.8gighertz right now at 144 fsb 12.5 multi
right now its at 143 stable but i know i have to do a voltage mod which is kinda risky for me. if i did the mod i know i could get 1.8gighertz easy.

also if i unlock the cpu will that take the stress off my cpu i.e voltage wise ? maybe i can get to 1.8 just raiseing my fsb and lowering the multi

What do you mean that those two fans are doin nothin?
They sure do!
Its maybe stupid to ask but did u connect those fans to the 12V line?

Yeah their connected lol to a 4 pin line
anyway the fans arent doing anything at idle maybe full load i dont know but i might just leave them off if my system is stable ,

hehe i asked you that cus i can remember that once i connected my fans in serie not in paralel so before connecting to the PSU so they spinned @ half of rated speed lmao..

What kind of case do you have? You might want take the side of you case off and see what kind of temp you get. Do you have wires all over the place, if you do that might be part of your problem. Do you have room above the slots by your cpu on the back of the case for a fan? If you do, put a fan there to see what happen. The main point is to pull air in from one side and get air out the other as directly and straight as possible without any obstruction.

You may want to have the heatsink fan draw air directly from the room. This will for sure allow you to cool that system.Use ducts or in your case a Duct to flow the air to the heat sink. You will still need 1 92mm intake to cool board and at least 2 80mm exhaust fans to dispell the intake air.I gotta show ya these ducts I made.I used a metel hole saw and drill to cut case. And a PVC 3.75 to 3.00
Pipe reducer as the ducts. The larg end of the PVC slides easly over the heatsink so case side removal is easy.

No i dont have a place to put a 80mm fan about the pci slots

there is one in the front blowing in and 2 on the side 92mm blowholes. The cable are all covered with plastic tubing and neatly placed for good airflow.
my system temps are at 32c and idleing at 40c .
i think i know what my problem is though
i cant seem to get 100 percent stable at 143 fsb at 12.5 multi
i need to do a voltage mod or something because my computer is unstable in quake 3 after 10 min it
i cant seem to get this cpu to 1.8gighertz. i did use a sparkle 400 watt today and my temps went up and my 5 volt rail wasnt all that compared to the enermax 431. now when i had a msi kt266a board the enermax wasnt all that and the sparkle ran better
