View Full Version : Fan mounthing on an SK6
I remember reading this on here and thought that I would give it a try. I've had it running this way for about a month and so far it seems to work out really really well. I only notice a 1-2 degree rise in CPU temps. But the amount of noise compaired to what it use to be with my Delta 38 (or whatever that thing was) is ALOT better.

Is the big fan on your HS mounted via a fan adapter? I've used tie-wraps, aka zip-ties to mount 80mm fans on a GW FOP-38 and a Vantec FCE-60450D. This works quite well, btw.
I bought a Delta 68cfm 80mm with the idea of replacing the 60mm Delta screamer on a Vantec CCK-6035D. This 80mm Delta is so massive that I'm chary of using a 60-80mm fan adapter to mount it. It may be tie-wraps to the rescue. Again.
