Can I swap hard drives between D600 & D610

I've been using a dell d600 with xp pro to program phone systems for several years now,so I have a lot system backups and tech manuals on the hard drive
the d610 has xp home.Can I swapped drives or format both drives and swap operating systems:bang head

You can try it. You may have to do a repair install on XP but it might work. Cant you make a backup on like a flash drive, then wipe the drives for a clean install?

You should be able to swap the drives if they both have the same interface (SATA-IDE). I suppose that all you want to do is switch all of your information and your operating system, correct, or just the operating system?
