Hy!!!!!!!!!!
i am new here so u can expect some stupid questions from me. but everibody has to strat once.
My situation:
I have an question abot the Burn in wizard in SiSoft Sandra 2002. It says that the wizard can damage hardware. So what are the chanses that an damage can trully happen??????
Chances are it will only damage hardware thats a big dodgy anyways. If your system is unstable then it may crash it, but the only way a newish system can be damaged is if it overheats.
Feel free to ask newbieish questions, 'better ask twice that go wrong once'.

I am worried about the GFX card. I was playing Serious Sam 2 and after grafic intensing parts of the game my computer freezed. And i had to restart it. an this couse the GFX card???
Should be perfectly safe.
Burning in is usually done on overclocked computers as many people belive that by letting it 'burn in' at an overclocked speed makes reaching higher speeds easier.
Give it a shot if you want, but beware old harddrives and poorly cooled components. Heat is probably the biggest problem.

I think heat should not be a prob. The CPU is running @ factory speed 1200 Mhz. I have an TT Vulcano 2 on it and i have an extra slot vent. My current CPU temp is 39 Celsious/ about 100 Fahrenheit and i am running IE, WinAMP, FTP with 3 users on it.
So will heat be a prob???????
Welcome to our forums! I'm sure you've come to the last place you'll ever need to go for help.
Going to move this post into our Other Software topic where it belongs. You'll also get more exposure to this type of question there.
Welcome once again and if you need anything...just ask!
