I'm looking for replacement RAM for my P35 MSI motherboard w/ Q6600.

My system and overclock are in my specs, and has been rock solid for more than a year now. For some reason out of the blue, the RAM seems to be flaking out. If I leave the system on, or use powersave (suspend) it works flawless. Once I turn it off, I have a hell of a time getting a restart without either A) pulling a RAM module out or B) resetting CMOS.

This CPU isn't FSB-friendly, so I need tight timings along with something that will do DDR2-900 or better. I don't think with this CPU I'd ever get above DDR2-1000, so high speeds aren't a serious concern.

Suggestions? Much appreciated.

Any 2 x 2GB PC8500 kit from a brand you trust would be fine.

Best value in a 2x2GB kit: http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-PC2-8500-Platinum-Voltage-OCZ2P1066LV4GK/dp/B002845LDC/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_1

These sticks are still one of the best value in DDR2 at the moment, but have you noticed that Amazon is slowly, but surely, raising the prices on the kits? These were especially well-priced when they were going for pennies over $44 back in July. Now going for $9 dollars more per pair, or approximately a 20% increase in the last month over the low of $44.

Yeah, but they're still $15 cheaper than the Egg has 1066 Blades. No other 2x2GB kit will get 1150 MHz that cheap.
