The OCF Rosetta Team would like to extend the invitation to all active forum members to join us in the quest for #1 in the world!
Rosetta@Home is a Distributed Computing Protein Folding Project running on the BOINC Client.
Whereas Folding@home deals with the actual process of folding(or misfolding), Rosetta@home deals with protein structure prediction, with emphasis on the final folded state of proteins. A bit different and very easy to use!
The OCF Rosetta Team (Overclockers.com) was revitalized by our ol' friend Adak back in August of 08' and thanks to the efforts of our core folders and ever growing member base, we have become a force to be reckoned with.
In the world standings, The OCF Rosetta Team is currently #26 of over 8400 teams in total points, and in the Top10 in Recent Average Credit (RAC). Considering that back before Adak fired things up the team sat stagnant at ~#100, we are definitely one of the fastest rising teams in the Rosetta world and we're only getting stronger!
Come on over and join the great bunch of people who make up the OCF Rosetta Team!
