View Full Version : is this a decent overclock for a gtx260?
i am dissapointed my gtx260,s memory couldnt even do 1200mhz even in 3dmark06(locks up half way through first test)but the core seems to go on forever.700mhz core and still havent found its limit yet with stock cooling.or is that pretty standard for a gtx260?
Mine are like this as well. Cores will clock over 700. The highest I've managed to bench was 714/1208, but that was in SLI. I know that the memory was at it's limit, but the cores may have had some more in them. Cards are on stock cooling.

See sig. But that is with my volt mods. See the thread I started for my stock air clocks. But I think it was 756 core...
Here it is:
Initial on air (100% fan): 729/1566/1215
Water, stock volts (1.06): 771/1656/1215
Water, bios volt modded (1.12): 810/1656/1215
And the thread in case you are curious. http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=599249
