Alright, so I really want to play with I7 so I'm going back to intel. I would like to keep the motherboard relatively cheap. Here is what I'm looking at (newegg compare link)
Which would be best to try to get a 920 D0 to 4.0 Ghz (hopefully anyway)

most i7's will hit 4.0 pretty easy unless you get a very unlucky batch, i hear open box's are not a good idea:shrug:
but definatly go with asus or gigabyte

i would go with the asus p6t no doubt...

i have had bad experiences with msi on socket 775 so ill never buy from them again...

i had the gigabyte extreme mobo and that thing had a huge vdrop so mark that one off the list

iv never used a biostar mobo so i cant any anything about them...

but im asus fan bro they have never let me down and they have a excellent rma dept.. so id go with them

I bought my ASUS rampage open box and it's awesome posted the first time it was turned on!
