...so I will start guessing on how the t-breds are going to OC. Looking at the rediculous 50% OC's P4's are getting now with the transition to .13 micron using pretty standard air cooling, I bet the t-bred OC's at least 30% out of the gates. This ## is lower because Intel obviously has had longer to refine their .13 process using the Tualatins as guinea pigs, plus of course the P4 is designed with clockspeed as its priority.

Within a couple of months of t-bred's release AMD will have theirs refined to the point where I bet we see 35-45% 9or higher!) OC's, and with the late steppings of the t-bred I bet we see even more. All on air cooling along the lines of what we have now. And as long as they keep those multi's unlockable...

Anyone else wanna make some guesses?

I shure hope your right. The chips to really look out for are the lower clocked CPUs once the .13s have been out for a while. Stock clock speed isn't always a good indacator of overclock speed as I found out on my 600 duron. At the time I really wanted a faster duron but I had heard so much good about the 600s. I was trying to save money since I put it mostly into the motherboard. Right off my 600 did 1000 with an orb and no case cooling. I went to a FOP38 with case cooling and got to 1050 and later 1100 after a voltmod. Finally I went to water cooling on that rig and I hit 1200 at 2.33v. The underdog duron did better than almost any duron untill the new 1000s. I hope i can get something like a 1500 .13 athlon and get 2500 or moer. Trickle down technology is the best!

I believe the lowest T-bred will be a 2000+ @ 1.666(??) GHz. (http://www.theinquirer.net/20010203.htm) Even right off the bat they should be good for ~30% OC IMO, and with later stepping we ought to see ~40-50% OC's with new steppings and a refined process. A ~2400MHz T-bred would be, what...a 2900+. SCHWING!

Any1 else care to guess? Come on, it is a boring Sunday afternoon...

Well, if the t-bred is released as a 2500+, it will be at 2Ghz by default. I think on air cooling we can get it to 2.4-2.5Ghz...which would be REALLY nice...a 3100+ or a 3200+!!!!!
