View Full Version : Back again...mostly.
Well, that time sink I posted about right before the start of the Chimp Challenege is mostly dealt with. It may flare up again from time to time, but for now, I don't have to deal with it.
So I should be a lot more active, though my production probably isn't going to top 60K PPD until I can afford to buy some more equipment.
Sorry about the 2 weeks of low PPD I had recently, I was on vacation and my main folding rig shut down, and my work computer had a windows update reboot, so I only had one computer folding while i was gone.
I've got everything up and running (mostly...one rig keeps shutting down every other day or so...) so my PPD should be stable for a while.

Good to see you back, torin. Hopefully that time sync issue doesn't decide to show up out of nowhere and cause your clients to go haywire. I forgot, was it the OS or the client that went all :screwy: with the time? If if is the OS, you could set the clients to ignore the system clock, and I think that might help out a little bit with keeping them folding along.

Actually, that was sink, not sync. A personal issue popped up and stole most of my time. :bang head
I'm only running 2 VMs right now and they only need attention every 3rd day or so.

Ahh, I missed that one. I was thinking along the lines of the system clock for some reason. :bang head

:welcome: back torin! Admittedly... I've been a bit AWOL recently as well. Had to cut back on my PPD considerably due to heat and power usage.
Good to hear the "sink" is over with... you make it sound like a bad hemorrhoid. :D ...which may or may not be an accurate analogy... I won't pry any further. :D
Welcome back, Torin!
