So I needed a new hard drive as a backup unit. Picked what I wanted from Newegg (free shipping) and then went to Amazon.com and found the same drive, same price, free shipping. I have an Amazon Prime account so I get the drive shipped next day air for $3.99 shipping.... Way cheaper and faster than Newegg. I have ordered my last 5 components from Amazon, purchased my HD TV from there, PS3, items used in bathroom, kitchen and rest of house.. One stop shop...

Has Newegg lost it's pricing edge? It has been a long time since I felt the Egg had the best prices..

I've been buying a lot of computer components from Amazon.com, lately, too. Amazon.com is definitely having better deals on a lot of computer components. I've never had to return anything to Amazon.com, though, so I can't say whether their CS is better or worse (or the same).
