220M laptop card

After googling around quite a bit I have yet to learn anything substantial about this card.

Can anyone give me some concrete details on it?
What card is it most similar to, as in what category.

I have a 7900gs right now but am looking to upgrade my laptop so where does this fall in comparison to my current card.

I asked a sales rep somewhere and I got a fluff answer. Hopefully someone here can help me out

I think it is more of a low end card, and the 7900gs should be able to beat it. I would aim for a 9800M or GTX260M, and on the ATi side the HD4850 is a strong card. These will all feel like a strong upgrade to the 7900gs.

Thanks, thats kinda what I thought but their naming conventions have started to get confusing.

Unfortunately ATI is out due to my OS choice, and Intel is obviously out for their crappy FPS

The 220M is pretty low end, meant more for mainstream than anything else. The 7900 definitely beats it out. Badbonji's suggestions for cards to look for are good.
