Alright, I saw this pop up on multiple threads recently, and mostly in a favorable light. So I'm giving it a shot, and I don't see what everyone is crazy about.
I like my character, I play a strider. Taming pets, shooting bows, good fun. But the mages in this game totally ruin it. They're so overpowered that everyone plays them, they're unkillable by my character. I can use all my skills and not dish out enough damage to kill 1... then I'm stuck with skill recharges and no self heal and a pet that does low to mediocre damage.
And what is the deal with the TP system? Totally unnecessary, now I just have to leave my computer on overnight while my dude sits in a big metal box and earns TP so I can buy the skills that I already have the skill points and level requirement for. It's silly.
And by far the best way to get experience is stay in a map that takes 45 seconds to run a lap around. And you're there for 15 levels at a time. Questing seems a distant last place for best ways to progress through the game.
Craftable equipment seems pretty low quality... no stat boosts, just a socket which is easy enough to find from drops.
I just don't see what the big deal here is... someone explain it to me. Or teach me to not suck or something... maybe I can party up with someone.
