Flashing textures

I know i've posted this in Games too but i think i'll get better response here. What do you think of this, it doesnt always happen but its annoying and giving me a headache too.

this is going to become the nvidia most common issue!
so many ppl r relating the same problem running different games, i think always with ogl applications.
i had myself spent almost a whole month writing and answering emails to the activision support, that was about the same problem running soldier of fortune. no solution up to now. actually the support didnt tell me anything clever enough for me to think they could still help in the near future. we lost the connection.
that should mostly be due to a compatibility problem between your ogl driver settings and the game video or sound settings.
i know its an ocasional problem. the best i got from mine is to reduce the frequency it will happen. despite that the problem can also not to be about the compatibility issue. its a very weird thing.
what made the best difference was to reduce the sound harware acceleration in windows. mine got down to use only the needed resources, that is one notch below the basic acceleration in w2k.
i made all the tests you could think of and got nothing better than that unfortunately. hope you find out a good solution and let us know what it is. good luck.

i use to have that problem with an ati card when i minimazed out of the game and back in it would fix it

That doesnt work with mine, in fact i get an error as soon as i get back in the game if i alt tab. I thought a setting might be wrong or something, i think i tried everything. Any suggestions?

Is that MOH:AA? I had nothing but Fuzzy blackness with white bars... NO textures... with my GF3 TI200... looked like some old pre-atari game.:p

Yes it is, sorry for not pointing it out. Did you get that for real RainMaQer? There must be a setting or something?

I tried everything I could think of and gave up... first did it on the demo... then I borrowed my cousins Full version... still did it.:eek:

(insert nasty word here) I guess i'll have to live with it. Its not that bad because i only see it once in a while but its still there... Its like when you get something in your eye, you think your ok but then it bothers you again, lol.
