Checkin' out some hard drives :

MAXTOR 40GB ULTRA ATA/133 7.2K FDB

IBM 60GB EIDE ULTRA ATA-5 DESKSTAR 7200RPM 60GXP

WD 40.0GB EIDE ULTRA-ATA/100 7200RPM

MAXTOR 80GB ULTRA ATA/133 7.2K FDB

...and I need some software to transfer or "clone" my old drive to my new one(don't want to reinstall again so soon). Ya know which maker supplies some software along this line with their HD's??

Thank you:)

Apart from secondary software, which HD manufacturer supplies software with their HD's?

Most harddrive manufacturers have the software for their drives on their websites and if I am not mistaken most have the capability to transfer from your old to the new drive. So check the websites and see which has the features you are looking for.

Done that already. Apparently, Western Digital is the only manu. that has some software; Data Lifeguard. Couldn't find any info. on the others' sites. Hoping someone would have firsthand experience. Thanks anyways
