Ok i was running a Celeron 633 @ 921 @ 1.85v with an fop32 and the temps were.. 40c-idle/45c-load .... now w/ my cool-computers.com kit ... the temps are the same, and when i set the speed back to 633 @ 1.70v its STILL 40c-idle.... whats up?
any suggestions, on how to lower the temp, i'm not running any additives and i only have a thiiiin layer of AS-1 on the die.
should i be seeing lower temps, or is this kit not strong enough for lower temps? -> rio-180 pump in a 4x4x4 res running to my 120mm rad w/ a panaflow then to the cool-computers.com block and back threw the res.
Any help/hints would help alot, thanks alot.
what are you using for temps? also try using 2 fans 1 pushing air and the other pulling
This is almost certainly a sign that there is poor contact bewteen the water block and the proc. You probably need more pressure. I found this with mine but the temp diff should be in the order of 10C.

hmmm.. i just got back from staples and decided i should try another program for the temp, i was using ASUS probe 2 and thats where the temps are reading as 40c ...i just tryed Sisoft Sandra.. and its reading 12c @ 921mhz!!! ...going to download MBM5 a little later and see what that reads, is there any other programs?
what sounds right?

Neither temps sound right. When I was using a copper waterb;pck to cool my 800 Celeron O.C.ed to 920 I was getting a temp of 28C. By the way are you using Arctic Silver.

Since you are using the rio, I take it that you are not running it in-line. The pump being in the water will heat up the water. If you have a big radiator that shouldn't be a problem. Try putting another fan on the rad, one pull and one push.

what should i be using? nothing? ...load temp is 20c w/ sandra
whats is the room temp. You cant cool below room temperature with a hsf or a radiator. So if your room temps are high you cant disipate as much heat.
You should be getting much lower temps! Try motherboard monitor for reading the temp because it sounds like your monitoring software is not working . Also check to see if the waterblock is seated on the cpu properly. The P3 does not put out a lot of heat. Try going into bios and check the temp there. When in bios it is putting a load on the cpu so it you leave it there for a bit you should see what your full load temp will be shortly.
