Abit IP35V - to OC a E2160 to 2.4GHz
Hi to all. Its my first time to try OC'ing and would like to make my E2160 faster, to 2.4GHz exactly. (read an article on Tom's Hardware about VGA stuff)
Here are my components:
ABIT IP35V (I've read some threads and this board is not recommended by most of you)
E2160 1.8GHz
Inno3D 8600GT 1GB DDR3
Transcend 2x1GB PC-6400 5-5-5-15
I read the HOW TO thread and tried to bump up the bus speed to 266. So far, I haven't touched the voltages yet, it's all in auto. Also tried prime95 stress test for about 15 mins and the max temp I got was 59C, 35C on idle
I have yet to try stress testing for a longer period but would these settings be enough? Am not that hardcore OC'er...
