I'm having problems with USB port

i've tried just about everything from updating to reformating. nothing seems to work at this point. i did a google search on the problem and found a ton of results that offer a driver scan for new updates.. but i'm a bit skeptic if that'll fix the problem.. any suggestions?

I guess you are talking about a thumb drive or something similar connected to the USB port?

What device is it that you are connecting by USB?

Did you install any drivers that the USB device came with?
