Temps WERE ok... but now they're wacky

I've been running my athlon 1600 @ 148 fsb for about a week, and it seemed like it would idle at around 44.5 celsius, and go to 47 load.

After a week of running at 148 fsb, my idle temps are up to 50? What's going on here? I've had my computer for about 2 weeks, so I figure the heat sink has settled..... but I'm baffled as to what my problem is.

Has it gotten warmer around you computer? That would be my guess.

i agree with thelemac but it could also just be the wacky job the motherboard probe does

Well, the ambient temps been quite stable, around 29. I toned down the overclock back to 133, and it dropped the temp to 48, but that's still really high for just standard speeds. I'll wait a day and see how it goes

29 is realy high for ambient temps id like shut off my comp @ those temps , thats just me
