I have got a very strange *problem*if you can call it like that.My cards default clocks are Core:580 Memory:700 Shader:1450
I started OCing the core ,10mhz each time, after push i make 1 quick 3dmark test run and push another 10mhz...so far so good.
Problem is at the net i saw maximum 700mhz core overclocked
And my clocks atm now are:Core:740 Memory:700 Shader:1850
My temps are fine,I cant find any artifacting in 3dmark,everything runs cool.Problem is,740mhz core and still not artifacting???? My question is ,should i push it more? until i really see artifacting. And also, any better program to see artifacts?I tried ati tool but it doesnt recognize my card.any other?
Thats a 160mhz overclock on core...omfg

Have you tried running FurMark for half an hour and seeing what happens?

What program are you using to overclock your card?

I started FurMark Stability test,it ran fine for 10mins.And i went downstairs.now im back and furmark seems to be not responding. But pc still running so i just ended it with task manager, didnt need even restart. Is there any Log or something i can see?
also ,do I have to stay on the computer and watch it for artifacts?or it will tell me
I use EVGA precision tool for OC,rivatuner wont work because my drivers are too new :)

Ok,i left my brother play the new game Red Faction for around 3-4 hours. He said he didnt see any artifacting!
