I basically bought an off-the-shelf kit from Overclockershideout.com and stuck it in my Antec 1230 case. I probably under-sized the radiator, but wow, what a difference! First, I was able to get rid of those LOUD fans. I'm down to six fans, including the radiator fan and the PSU fan...but all of them are slow and quiet (I used to have four of those Sunon 68 CFM beasts).

And my temps are great (compared to what I had prior). Better yet, I was able to bump my 1.4 T-bird to 1.6 without a voltage mod. I'll let it run like this for while before I really start pushing it.

Bottom line...why didn't someone tell me about water cooling sooner...Oh yeah, y'all did! Thanks everyone. I've been reading stories, hints and tips for months, so I appreciate everyone's input...whether you know it or not, you helped me!!

I don't think I could ever go back to air now. I am so addicted now I'll try almost anything I can think of to make my system better.

congrats, I should be going to water as soon as I design a clamp for the block I have.

I just went pelt/watercooling with my P3 1.26S system and it is awesome to see your loaded temps @ -8° C.:D I still have a few things I need to change, like mounting the pelt psu on the outside of my case because I find that it puts out too much heat to keep inside of my Antec SX1200 case and I also need to get a quieter 120mm fan for the radiator. I'm glad that I went watercooling though and I will probably swap the T-bird rig over to straight wc later.
