nodoze, how can this be!! there must be something that is hindering your chip! i think motherboard has to do with it..what kind of MB you are currently hosting your chip on? to be honest, my 300a@412 (36~38)mhz will beat your score everytime, so do something!!

My work computer was purchased/setup by our IT department & since it's not really my property I'm just using it as is. The purchasers of our equipment are known for putting $ before performance so that score didn't surprise me at all.

But here's another one... My Home computer (Pentium Pro 200) = 14.7:( I can remember when this machine was a real screamer & even though it's a dog by today's standards, it still meets most of my needs.

hehehe, that'z cool, as long as you are satisfy, then it is ok, how fast the rig does not really matter!! for example, i am using my rig, check below, which is really slow comparing to others in this forum, BUT it does the job, a wonderful job actually, and i am very happy with it!! so i don't think i will set up my Piii tualatin 1.26 soon (the chip and mobo just lay there doing nothing), cuz there is no need!!

I understand that. During the years I have seen many programs that I liked (or was at least used to) go by the wayside and it is hard to relate old scores to new programs.:)

some said yea, but mine is run under normal TSR

ummm...the CPUmark of 1.5G Tualeron is lower than 1.44G PIII-S, because of the cache or the FSB?

a clean boot with min background prog. will help your score for certain according to my own personal experience:) back then, i checked the score like everything 8 min or so...:D so trust me.. you score with change like 5+-.

to solve the question is actually pretty simple, people who got P-s, lower your fsb and compare the score.

from the result of all your inputs, it seems that 512k is really doing its job!!

PIII:

1) Deez: 1100E @1308, 1.75vcore, scores 108 on ASUS TUSL-2C

2) Soil: 1000E @1342, 2.05vcore, scores 111 on Epox 3VCA2

Celeron-T:

1) 6502kid: 1.1a @ 1505, scores 111 on either XET-C or SY board.

2) Flu!d: 1.2a @ 1500, scores 122 on XET

3) Ol'man: 1.2a @ 1600, scores 133 on ST6(?)

P-s:

1) Oldfart: 1.26 @ 1.44, scores 134 on XET-C

2) Pappypete: 1.26 @ 1.26, scores 117 on XET-C
1.26 @ 1.52, scores 141 on XET-C

Please notes that 1.1a scores the lowest score despite high fsb, reason unknown tho. people with 1.1a, please post your score, so we can see if this is just an accident or something else.
