Help with RocketRAID 2680 ..

I just picked up a HighPoint RocketRAID 2680 to take over from the dodgy nvidia chipset my 4x Samsung 750GB F1's are attached to ..

I backed up everything then deleted the RAID 5 array from the nVidia control panel and deleted the partitions on each drive and plugged them into my RR. 2680 with a Mini-SAS to 4xSATAII cable .. However, the RAID cards BIOS show no devices attached what so ever ..

I tried the other Mini-SAS port, checked the power/data connections of each of the drives, updated the cards BIOS and the Windows drivers .. Still no sign of any HDDs connected ..

Any ideas guys?!? Cheeers :beer:

Anyone? .. How would a RAID card want the drives set up before I initialize them?

Did the cable come with the controller or did you buy it separately? If separately, it may be the wrong cable, that would go from 4 SATA ports to a mini-sas connector for a backplane of some kind.
