I did the registry hack in WinXP Pro to get the recycle bin off my desktop. When I delete things they still get sent to the recycle bin. My problem now is, how do I empty the recycle bin? I looked in windows explorer for the recycle bin like it was in 98. I cna't find it. So how do I empty the recycle bin?

all i can tell you is go into you c drive and crate a shortcut for the reclycing bin if it is there, put it in my docs or any other folder, you can also try draging it to your start menu by using your keybaord to open the start menu and draging the shortcut to the place in it that you want. sorry if that wasnt too much help.

Bring the icon back onto ur desktop for a min, go into the recycle bin propritys and set it to permanatly del everything, so it'll never even send it to the bin in the first place, then do the reg hack again and get the icon back off ur desktop =)
I know that works in 98se, dunno if XP has the perm del option tho.
Hope that helps

or when you delete something just use the key combo "shift+delete", which completely bypasses the recycle bin and permanately deletes it right away.
