Hi folks,

(I did send a PM to Brolloks, but since he told he's not that often here on Ocforum. Just to make sure i post one here publicly)

I have a rather specifick question regarding the EVGA X58 SLI LE. I want to watercool my i7 and gtx260 with a 360rad and a 120rad. (Ps: my case-Lian li Tyr pcx-500) My plan is to place the 120rad on to the exhaust see link:

And this one go to post #172 wich is the x58 SLI LE

http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/showthread.php?p=388406

So should i have clearance if i place the 120 rad, will it not touch the heatsink that big black heatsink with written words evga etc or other parts of the mb? pleace note il be using the rad as in the first picture not the blue one on the second link. Most important is the placement of the 120rad the added 120mm fan i can if i must attach at the back side of the case. There is simply no other place in the case
see link:with my setup....
Please reply if you have the EVGA X58 Sli LE because its a specifiek question only towards this motherboard.

If you guy's could help i would appreciate it very much.

Thanks in advance

I have the mobo, but in a HAF 932.

honestly, I don't see the heatsink as being a hindrance for you though, unless your 120 rad is bigger than a normal 120 rad <.<

Thanks for the reply

This is the 120rad i want to place there:

Could you if possible add on top of your fan 58.5mm thats the hight of the rad. (120rad 58.5mm plus your fan 25mm)
or 33.5mm add to your exhaust fan (rad without a fan)

I realy dont know if you could measure with a measuring rod if you do please start at the bottom of the exhaust fan - (heatsink placement is near the bottom of the fan). If its to much trouble or risc to do i dont mind at all i understand.

Thanks anyway

I mean height wise. the heatsink sticks up above the block of audio jacks by MAYBE half an inch, if that much, so I dont think the heatsink is tall enough to get in the way.

Sorry I did not reply to your PM, traveling today.
Your setup will not be a problem as far as I can see. Good luck and let us know she runs.

Thank you guy's and thank you Brolloks,

It seems its alright then to use the dual layer 120 rad on the exhaust. I had my doubts if the heatsink would be in the way.
