Media Ceter Problems

Before I had the 32-bit version of Vista Ultimate Installed on my computer. Today I installed the 64-bit version of Vista Ultimate and it installed all the drivers and everything just fine with my older WinTV tuner. The tuner worked wonderfully on 32-bit media center but now with 64-bit installed same settings and same drivers it just lags ad skips around and freezes my computer for a few seconds and does not work. I tried installing the k-lite codec packs for 64-bit along with the 32-bit mega package and the updates. Has anyone heard or had this happen to them? It's weird that it worked perfectly before but now with 64-bit it works horribly.

With 4 gigs of ram and using an x64 OS which allows and sees all 4 gigs, the driver may not work well. I know older Hauppauge tuner cards have this problem. Try taking out a gig or running config.sys and limiting your memory to 3gigs or less to see if it solves it. Those same symptoms I used to have with Vista 64 and 4 gigs.
