Any sign of the Gigabyte Radeon??

Anybody seen any sign of the much talked about gigabyte Radeon 8500?

I just got of the phone with Giga-Byte and getting info was like pulling your own teeth out as the women kept on telling me after the New Year......???


I then looked at my calendar and made sure that I was not in an alter reality and realized that she was talking about the Chinese New Year.


Turns out the card will be on the retailers shelves on Feb. 16

(She mentioned they are shipping appr. the 13th hense on the shelf on the 16th)

The info I recieved was for US sales.....I guess I could make another phone call..............looks for bottle of valium before having to talk to that women again at Giga-Byte :)

it would be really great if you could find the Uk reease date as I'm about to start a big 3D project and a card update is needed quite badly. I would step up to a semi pro CAD card like an Elsa, but I like to game and I can't afford it.

if it's not out for a while, do you think it would be worth gettin it shipped in from the states?
