I just got a jetta 1034 laptop, i thank that's what it is, it says model number is ms-10341b and the name on the front is jetta. it it has a cracked screen. so is it possible to replace the screen so i don't have to trash the laptop?

Yes it is. I replaced one in my Compaq Presario and it was fairly easy. The biggest hurdle is a) figuring out what screen you have. For example WXGA 15.4" Glossy b)finding it on ebay for less than 100 dollars.

I bought my screen on Ebay for about 65 dollars, it wasn't an exact match, but it could still be installed. I have read that most screens can be used in a variety of laptops, the important thing is getting the right type.
