I found two old chiller units in a clear out the other day. I was hoping to get an SS built out of one of them.

Which refrigerant do you want to use in the new system?
Once you've decided that then check to be sure that it is compatible with what is currently in the system.
Both compressors will make things cold. The second one seems to be the more 'powerful' of the two. Does this translate to better cooling? I don't know.

i would use the second one for starters it will have POE oil in it so that u would not have to chage the oil if u r going to use a gas like r507 or r404a
