ocz gladiator with delta38

i am just wondering, is the setup enough for an AMD 1ghz, which will be oced around 1.2~4? anyway, my case is got enough air flow tho, so i am not too concern about that, but gladiator...uh..anyway, i have lapped it down a bit, still in the progress.

I have the SVC version of the Gladiator and after a good lapping it does fine.

I had my 1.2 as high as 1.45 on it and it rarely went above 40C. As long as you lap it well and have good case flow it should work fine.

how far did you go in terms of lapping? is 1500 enough?

I went to 1500 then used toothpaste to polish it up :D

1500 should be plenty unless you bought 2000 already, in which case it won't hurt. (Won't really help much either.)
