I have today bought a new cpu! It is a AMD Tbird 1300 mhz. But what I want to now is? Is this a good overclocker?
Stepping: AXIA

The AXIA 1300 should do 1500-1600 if you can keep it cool enough. What are your temps like?

My temps are 26 degrees IDLE and 35 degrees full load, what would be the maximum overclock>

Welcome to the forums. :)

What are you using to cool it.

The stepping is a good one for overclocking, how high it goes is up to your system (motherboard and ram in particular) and what cooling you use.

Good luck and we'll help all we can.

I am using a Dragon Orb 3 7000rpm with 3 80mm fans in my case.
One in front one behind the cpu and one behind the cd-rom players.

That looks pretty good so far, start bumping it up slowlyand keep your eye on it.

Like bender said 1.5ghz+ is possible, although I'm ot sure if the Dragon orb will get you that far. I'm not really familiar with them myself.

Good luck! :)

But 1500mhz is possible? So first by trying raising the fsb? and Lowering the multiplier?

man get that DOrb off of there if you get 35c load with that youd get like 32c load with a GOOD Heatsink, at those temps, that is NOT NEAR your max OC.. Up the voltage and speed some more and you are ok. My temps are like 45c load at 1607mhz, 1.85vcore stabel as a mother
