My DDR @ 170FSB Cas2 beats the PC800 Rambus (well its very close) , not bad for PC2100!

Sorry about the image but I had to crop it otherwise I couldn't post it:rolleyes:
Impressive! My Crucial 2100 can only do 154 FSB at CAS2/4-banks/etc..
And my crucial 156 max. Still gets me well into the 2200's at the fastest settings.:)

If anyone wants a full screenshot then I can email it.
I'll try to post a better pic after fiddling with the resizing.

and another one
Here is rdram on a good mb at 135fsb.
Imagine what it would be at 170fsb.
 That is really high Placid.
What are these rumors about Ali coming out with a RDRAM+AMD chipset that will run on the new 12000?

RDRAM at 130ish is like DDR at 170ish just an fyi
Since RDRAM is 100*4*2 and DDR is 133, 166, 200*2 etc...
Most DDR has faster base speed then RDRAM... So don't plan on seeing any RDRAM at 170 fsb untill the new 1.1 ghz rdram comes out...

Try these out TranceBear...lol i got 9.5x165 cas 2 all turbo, which i think is great for only the kt266 (non a) chipset, with a kt266a board i think 170 cas 2 and 175 cas2.5 is possible

Was previously in the 900 range with a 256 stick of OCZ PC2700 @ 153 FSB and max timings. I switched to Sandra 2002 and now I'm getting 2100-2200 range. Anyone know what's up with that?

I was close Jason, see.....although this was with my old 1ghz, I have not enuff *alls to unlock the XP yet. My board will not allow mw above 164, design flaw. I know the board and the RAM will do more, damn MSI!!

As for rdrAM going away. Not likely. They are talking about increased performance RDRAm don't know the exact range but it will go up to 1200 or so. At double the cost it is now. RDRAm is much better than DDR and yes cost more to but will not go away.
As for those post.. Why in each post the sandra marks for the RDRam IS different. Didnt' think Sandra would change the reference bench marks for each person. Just a thought.

Some people are using the old version of Sandra. They just need to download the newest version.
