I need some help folks. I have a Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P. I bought two WD SE16 320GB HDD's to set up RAID 0 including the OS. I have a problem with the direction. The say "Before you begin Please prepare: 1. At least two SATA hard drives" What do they mean by "prepare?" the drives???? Do I format the drives beforer I start? I would also like some advice on what stripe size I should use. The default is 64Kb. I'm leaning toward something larger, but I really need some advice. Thanks folks!!!!

i would think they just mean put it in the computer. set to raid in bios - save and exit. create the raid via ctrl+f.. install w/ raid driver handy. no need to pre format. there seems to be a lot of variables with stripe sizes, but on a simple desktop raid0 id leave it on default
