Hello! I have a gateway performance 733 pc. I have had it for just over a year now. I'm about to get myself a new video card and opened up my case to check things out. I noticed that above my PCI and APG slots I have an extra place on my case that looks like its for an extra fan. Its right in the middle of my case if your looking from the very back of it. Anyone know what kind of fan is suppose to be put there and what is the best one to get?

Thanks and I hope I made enough since here for someone to know what I'm talking about!:)

I wold suggest measuring the space. The common fan sizes are 60mm, 80mm, and 92mm.

Also be aware of the how much clearance the fan needs when considering the thickness of the fan.

If the case looks anything like this...I used to have that case a good while ago, anywho, if is looks similar to this, is what I did was just threw a fan on the inside of the case in the opening.I had no problems with clearance, and it helped to cool, ALOT. You will notice on the pic, even though the area of the opening is big, there are 4 fan holes there for the fan, so if it is anything like what you got, that is what i did..........
