4890 anyone else care to share

i recently bought a xfx 4890,and installed a amd 720 be processor.i run auto clock in ccc,and now its running gpu clock of 965,and memory clock of 1020.and pushin 240mhz.i think thats pretty good on a auto tune.

the 4890's are awesome overclockers. aside from the 5xxx series of cards which I have yet to have a look at overclocking wise, the 4890 probably has the greatest overclocking headroom of any card on the market.

ya ,i love the card so far.i had a question ive been saving on this subject.pcie is set to 100mhz in my bios,has anyone ever pushed this up and why?mine lets me go to 150,but i dont mess with this stuff unless i know

leave it as is unless you're getting artifacts for unknown reasons (ie, you're at stock speeds playing frogger...) then you can try to go to 101-105 but there really is no reason to go higher than that.

nope,no artifacts,so ill be leaving it aloan.but now i know what to use it for.tomorrow is the day ,adding anthor 120mm fan and starting the overclock.nothing heavy,but giong to try to jump it up.rhx for the replies and the info everyone

Very happy with my Sapphire Battle station. I can run 1022 core 1190 Mem with extra voltage.
