So I started playing Left4Dead and got annoyed with not being able to talk. I went out lastnight and bought a set of Razer Cacharias which look and feel awesome. I'm running them off the built in realtek audio on my board but even with all the mic setting maxed I have to talk really loud in order for anyone to hear me. I've tried using the windows mic test too and it does the same thing. It barley moves the bar on the loudness scale. Is this because the mic is f'd up or is it the on-board audio. Should I buy a sound card or replace the headset?
