Condensation forms when the hotter air meets a cooler surface or air. The difference between the two temp cause the moisture in the air to condense. So if you put the rad in the fridge and the block have a really big difference in temp between the air, then condensation will form. Unless the air is really really dry.

thats what i thought.. cause im thinking that when i go to water im gonna buy a mini fridge and shove the radiator in it or make one that will fit in it and put a few sodas at the same time....

hes on the money demon.
after much reading here in forums ive decided not to go with a pelt for that reason also.too much worry-hassle

but i do have a idea to kick at ya.
the resivour im getting is a solid aliminum square block shape.
now heres what im thinken is to put a few small pelts on it strap it down and put a good sized hsink/w fan kind of a mini fridge for your resivour.
would need a control to regulate the power to the pelt as to not drop the temp to much but just enough to bring the water down a few degrees

im gonna buy myself a nice little frigerator that way i can throw my radiator in their with a fan and have a few drinks nice and cold right next to the computer.. my dad says he can get me one on clearance, damaged from home depot for $50 (he works their)

so that will work out nicely

The only problem I see with the fridge idea is whether the fridge can remove the heat load that you need to dissipate. For example, an oced 1.4TB puts out over 100W. The fridge has to be able to dissipate that much heat or it will start getting warmer and warmer inside the fridge, heating up the water in the block.

I may be wrong, but this is the gist of what I get from having read some posts on using fridges for cooling.
